About the Role:

EnTech is seeking a Full-Time Resident Engineer/ Construction Inspector for a NYCDPR/NYCDDC project. This is a long-term position, reports to the Project Manager, and will be involved in Construction Inspection projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Read and interpret plans and specs.
2. Daily Inspection and supervision
3. QA/QC reviews and compliance
4. Review, record, and track all submittals
5. Monitoring Contract Cost and Schedule
6. Examine the workmanship of completed construction to ensure conformity to project specifications and applicable construction codes.
7. Prepare daily, and weekly reports, and project progress reports
8. Project team coordination for all construction submittals, and timely delivery of responses to all construction RFI’s, CO’s, etc.
9. Keep the project manager/client advised of issues and propose possible solutions.
10. Prepare work estimates, related sketches, and documentation.
11. Measure quantities and review contractor payment requests.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture Engineering.
2. The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years experience in construction management.
3. A positive attitude and good work ethic.
4. Should possess a working knowledge of: shop drawing review, scheduling, permitting, and inspection requirements.
5. Familiar with DPR/DDC projects including the reconstruction of the sidewalk, road, parks, and concrete work; Familiarity with building renovation will be a plus.
6. Excellent communication skills.

Estimated Annual Compensation:

$90,000-$130,000
