An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Resident Engineer/Clerk of the Works to oversee construction projects. Position Summary
Reporting to the DCAMM Project Manager during Construction, this Resident Engineer/Clerk of the Works is responsible for on-site observations and daily reporting on progress, as well as monitoring and coordinating testing and inspection services full time during the construction phase. Communicate and collaborate with the Owner/Architect/OPM team to ensure project integrity and a high-quality work product that consistently meets or exceeds the project’s contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Maintain records at the OPM’s on-site field office, including but not limited to written and electronic correspondence, contract documents, change orders, change directives, reports, shop drawings, project data, and samples.

Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
