Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. seeks resident engineers for our Pennsylvania office. Responsibilities include supervising staff and managing day-to-day construction management and administrative/financial tasks on assigned projects.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering or construction management degree, NICET Level 3-4 in Highway Construction, and PE license is preferred. Experience on PennDOT/PA Turnpike projects is valued. Some travel and site work will be involved.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• NICET Level 3-4 in Highway Construction is required/strongly preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Project experience >$10 million is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify construction per contract documents, specs, and codes.
• Oversee inspection services to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
• Review daily narratives, labor and T&M reports for accuracy.
• Coordinate construction work with facility operations and other stakeholders.
• Review drawings for constructability, staging, and logistics.
