What You Will Do

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

With little or no supervision, act as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects that may include transportation and transit facilities. Perform assignments that may not be clearly defined and develop construction documents, procedures, and criteria. Perform oversight of multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct project meetings with clients and document them.
  • Manage construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
  • Negotiate and approve construction change orders.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets.
  • Prepare and issue reports and correspondence.
  • Approve quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
  • Approve construction payment applications.
  • Resolve technical issues.
  • Perform constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
  • Lead Risk Management assessments.
  • Prepare and monitor Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required.
  • PE licensed in the State of Washington.
  • Experience as a Resident Engineer on transit, rail, and highways.
  • 10+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCM preferred.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
  • 10-hour OSHA Safety course preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Compensation

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
