Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with daily pay at $16 per hour all inclusive.

You will help create engaging programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being of our residents. Requirements include a high school diploma and a year of relevant experience preferred.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation in activities.
• Promote residents' well-being through meaningful activities.
• Plan and implement recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Build relationships and encourage participation based on interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Observe and report changes in residents' moods or engagement.
• Assist with community outreach and event planning.
• Complete required administrative tasks and program records.
• Prepare, decorate, set up, and break down activities and events.
• Escort and transport residents to activities as needed.
