Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator (Finance) to enhance resident programs and coordinate events within the community. You will partner with residents to design monthly calendars and coordinate meaningful engagement activities.

The role involves planning, scheduling, and collaborating with leadership to deliver diverse events, with potential related duties and growth opportunities within Brookdale. A minimum background in program coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning and executing programs for adults.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan and execute events including holidays, family, educational activities.
• Plans and schedules meaningful resident engagement opportunities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Education and Experience

A minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required. Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred. Leadership experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and may be required to obtain a commercial driver's license based on the needs of the community
