Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in North Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to enhance resident engagement and wellbeing within our continuing care retirement community.

In this role you will respond to residents' needs, assess potential residents, determine appropriate residency levels, address care and safety concerns, build referral networks, and educate residents about advanced directives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of social work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior setting.
• Knowledge of the geriatric population and dementia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responding to residents in need of psychosocial or supportive services, through direct referral or by the review of incident reports
• Conducting assessments of potential residents
• Recommending appropriate levels of residency
• Assessing and resolving issues regarding residents’ care and safety
• Developing referral networks within the community for available services
• Educating residents in the importance of Advanced Directives and completion of documents
