Job summary

The Resident Electrical Engineer will join Eos Energy Enterprises' Hardware Engineering group at our Edison, NJ site, acting as a primary gateway to sustaining engineering and the NPI team. You will support test setups for battery energy storage systems and collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; minimum 2 years' experience.
• Experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and electrical test equipment programming a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports ongoing manufacturing and new product introduction of battery energy storage systems.
• Troubleshoots and supports development and implementation of test setups, processes, and procedures to ensure product quality in production.
• Troubleshoots issues and coordinates feedback to resolve issues.
• Serves as on-site liaison for manufacturing, operations, and quality teams.
• Performs root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action.
• Supports certification efforts for products under UL, CE, and other standard organizations when necessary.
• Develops and executes test procedures and protocols for IPQC and factory acceptance testing.
• Serves as adviser to design team on design for manufacturing & assembly.
• Supports or leads Design Verification Testing effort of subcomponents or full product systems.
• Supports PFMEA related to assembly of large DC systems.
• Supports and drives the creation of product and manufacturing process documentation.
• Interfaces with customers or suppliers as required in a technical expert role.
• Works with team to complete and maintain documentation of all system assemblies, including generation of BOM, Schematics, and SLDs for production transition.
• Works with team to help set and implement new standards and processes.
