• We are hiring a full-time Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA who will also serve as a Resident Driver, working primarily Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid role with a variable schedule, days and afternoons, 30-40 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours.
• Seeking a dedicated, compassionate Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters and priests in Enfield, CT. This position also involves driving a company vehicle to transport elders to appointments in the Enfield area.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA provides direct care to elder sisters, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, dining, transportation, and restorative care. Responsibilities include documenting care and communicating with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality care. The role also involves collaborating with nursing staff on residents' ongoing needs.
• Transport residents safely to hospitals, medical offices, rehabilitation centers, and the convent. Provide non-medical transportation services as needed. Perform duties similar to a Nurse Aide, including restorative and enrichment support.
• Work collaboratively to support the religious life of sisters by creating a warm, caring environment. Engage in meaningful interactions and teamwork across departments to ensure sister satisfaction and a thriving community.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience in long-term or home care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing required.
• At least two years’ experience in resident transportation is preferred.
