Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks a Dietary Aide to perform varied food service tasks, ensuring proper plating, portioning, and sanitation for residents. You will assist kitchen staff, maintain logs, and help with meal service in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Operate equipment safely and report any malfunctions to executive chef.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts to satellite kitchens.
