Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Wait Staff/Server to deliver meals to residents in a long-term care facility and provide an exceptional dining experience.

You will work with kitchen and dining teams to ensure smooth service and compliance with safety standards in a friendly, resident-focused environment. Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
• Ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, such as plating and assembling meals.
• Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
