Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Wait Staff/Server to deliver meals to residents in a long-term care facility and ensure a high-quality dining experience. You will join a team-focused environment, adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, and communicate with kitchen and dining staff to support smooth service.

Prior food service experience is welcome but not required. The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability in a setting that serves residents and guests

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, push up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
• Ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, such as plating and assembling meals.
• Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
