Job summary

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a full-time server to join our culinary services team in an Independent Living setting. This 32-hour-per-week role runs 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with competitive pay and benefits to match up with experience.

You will deliver friendly, attentive service to residents and support breakfast and lunch service using POS systems. Responsibilities include serving meals, setting up stations, sanitizing dining spaces, and assisting with stock and kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of culinary or food service experience; server experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up breakfast station and take orders using POS, preparing breakfast items for residents.
• Set place settings with clean flatware and glassware.
• Break down breakfast station and reset for lunch with deli prep.
• Present lunch options and take orders using POS.
• Prepare items with central kitchen for lunch and serve to residents.
• Clear dirty plates and sanitize dining area daily.
• Maintain stock levels for resident comfort and care.
• Operate ovens, dishwasher, mixer, slicer and other kitchen equipment.
