Job summary

Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nutrition Services - Dietary Aide to join our team. You will assist the food service team in creating a positive and healthy dining experience for residents, ensuring meals and hospitality items are prepared and dining rooms are set on time.

The role involves following standardized recipes, maintaining hygiene, and supporting other staff to ensure timely production, service, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Food handlers’ card required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitations, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Able to communicate tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the food service team to provide a positive dining experience for residents.
• Prepare meals, snacks and hospitality items and set up dining areas.
• Maintain proper serving times and portion control; ensure sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow infection control policies and wear required protective gear.
• Complete kitchen close duties and support other staff as needed.
