Qualifications

• Food handlers’ card required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitations, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to tactfully communicate with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe food handling and proper storage, including temperatures.
• Prepare and portion foods using prescribed recipes and diet requirements.
• Support timely meal production and maintain portion control.
• Ensure serving areas are clean and dining rooms set up according to guidelines.
• Perform kitchen close duties and assist with cleanup as assigned.
