Cantex is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support meal preparation, service, and sanitation in a long-term care setting. You will help with tray assembly, dining room setup, and safe food handling while ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to regulations.

Qualificações

• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service/dietary services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection prevention preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assures that sanitation, food safety, and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, tableware, and utensils as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and food service equipment as assigned.
• Completes required logs and documentation as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with appropriate tableware, condiments, and tray tickets.
• Assists with food preparation, meal assembly, tray line operations, and portioning of food servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for tray line operations and dining rooms.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation duties according to established schedules.
• Maintains daily care of dishwashing areas, pot and pan stations, lavatories, hand sinks, worktables, and dish storage areas.
• Delivers soiled linens to the laundry department.
