Job summary

The Heron of Palm Coast is seeking a dining services aide to assist with food preparation and serving for residents, families, and guests. You will follow sanitation and safety procedures, help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, and support a respectful and caring atmosphere in daily dining operations.

Responsibilities include serving meals, cleaning duties, and responding to residents’ requests under supervision, with training provided and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Language abilities: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; able to write simple correspondence.
• Reasoning abilities: apply common sense understanding to follow instructions and handle few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to established menu and sanitation procedures.
• Serve residents in dining rooms for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and maintain a dignified atmosphere.
• Clean kitchen, dining area, and storage spaces; ensure safety and security of residents and staff.
• Participate in trainings and meetings; wear appropriate dress and follow policies.
