Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Dining Host for Bristol Glen in Newton, NJ. This part-time, afternoon position involves greeting residents and guests, seating them, and supporting dining services in a restaurant-style setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability for afternoon shifts and every other weekend.
• Drug test and background check before start date.
• Yearly flu shot (medical and religious exemptions available).
• Nice to have: Experience in a restaurant, hotel, store, or other customer service job.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, and guests, then seat them.
• Manage the wait list during busy meal times.
• Answer questions about the daily menu and specials.
• Help servers with drinks, table setup, and table resets.
• Keep the dining room, entryways, restrooms, and service stations clean and ready.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling rules.
• Help with community events and special dinners.
