Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking an Assisted Living CNA for Bristol Glen in Newton, NJ. The part-time evening shift (2p-11p) offers $21.50–$25.55 per hour with $2.00 evening and $1.50 weekend differentials. You will assist residents with bathing, grooming, meals, and mobility, while following care plans and communicating with the care team.

Required: High school diploma or GED and active New Jersey CNA certification. Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current and active New Jersey CNA certification is required.
• Preferred: prior experience in assisted living or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Assist at mealtimes and with walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment.
• Make regular rounds and check in on each resident during your shift.
• Follow each resident's care plan and write clear notes for the next shift.
• Get to know residents and work closely with nurses and the care team.
