Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Jericho, NY is seeking a dining room attendant to greet residents, take meals, assist with plating, monitor dietary needs, and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.

You will work closely with kitchen staff, maintain table settings, re-set dining areas, and help with cleaning, sanitation, and reset duties while promoting community and friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests and assist residents to table.
• Assist in plating and portion control of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages and desserts.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents with accuracy and promptness.
• Monitor residents' dietary needs and report unusual findings to the Director of Wellness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and check table settings for cleanliness.
• Re-set tables completely and ensure condiments and supplies are available for the next meal.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with residents and their families.
