Job summary

US Lawns is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the team at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. This role is vital in ensuring meals are accurately prepared and served according to the residents' dietary needs. Responsibilities include assisting with meal service, maintaining dietary records, and monitoring food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition, sanitation, and food storage practices preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and meet applicable health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service by checking trays for accuracy.
• Process diet changes under supervision and follow Dietitian instructions.
• Maintain dietary records and perform clerical duties.
• Meet with residents and families to discuss dietary needs.
• Monitor food temperatures and sanitation practices.
• Attend required training and maintain positive relationships.
