Job summary

Lifespace Communities is seeking a Dietary Assistant for the Bloomington, Minnesota location. You will distribute meals according to dietary orders, set up rooms, and ensure trays are served and retrieved efficiently during meal times.

No formal education or prior experience is required; a willingness to learn is required. Starting pay is hourly and based on experience, with compensation determined accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Distribute food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meals according to specified diet orders and approved substitute menu items.
• Prepare table set-up in room and bus tables after meals.
• Initiate resident tray service. Ensure quality and temperature of food items. Deliver and retrieve trays by end of meal dining time.
• Organize and stock stations with supplies.
• Enhance workstation safety and sanitary conditions which may include, but not limited to, picking up food and trash around the work area, cleaning tables, chairs, and other food service equipment and utensils.
