Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide/Server to provide courteous meal service to residents and guests in Roanoke, VA. You will assist with tray service, beverage service, and dining room upkeep, ensuring warm, safe, and sanitary dining experiences.

Key duties include following serving techniques, helping with food storage and labeling, reporting equipment issues, and supporting residents with mobility and memory needs while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene and wear a clean uniform.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals courteously to residents and guests.
• Assist with tray service and beverage service.
• Clean up and reset dining room after meals.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls and maintain service areas.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
