Job summary

StoryPoint Germantown is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to perform a variety of food service tasks and maintain sanitary kitchen and dining areas. You will assist in food preparation and plate meals for residents according to dietary guidelines, while supporting a positive team environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with a focus on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or technical school.
• Ability to manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
