Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders and beverages, and keep dining areas clean and organized. You will follow proper serving techniques, handle tray service, and participate in required in-services.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, read simple instructions, and maintain a clean uniform. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow simple instructions.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Able to communicate effectively and work under supervision.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must maintain clean, designated uniform and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals courteously to residents and guests and reset dining area after service.
• Assist residents with menu orders and beverage service.
• Refill condiments and report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Follow sit-down serving techniques and food safety practices.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Support tray service and respect resident confidentiality.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and dining areas as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
