Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with preparation, and ensure a clean, sanitary dining environment while delivering excellent customer service.

The role supports resident well‑being and requires teamwork, reliability, and adherence to food safety standards. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, with benefits and on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
