Your Role On Our Team

CLAAS Resident Technicians support customers with complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance (both in the field and in the shop). This role emphasizes excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction. Technicians operate autonomously within company guidelines, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit and representing the CLAAS brand. Fully-equipped service trucks are provided.

• Perform complex diagnostics, service, repairs, and maintenance on CLAAS equipment; in-shop repairs as needed.
• Explain maintenance and repair concerns to customers and document on work orders.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to stock seasonal parts effectively.
• Support machinery setup and adjustments.
• Promote and sell service programs to customers.
• Maintain current knowledge of CLAAS and competitors’ products.
• Complete reports and forms promptly, including time and material accounting.

Your Profile

• Preferred: Ag Diesel Technology Degree or similar; work experience in diesel technology.
• 3+ years’ experience as a field service technician or engineer on agricultural equipment.
• Experience in customer-facing troubleshooting roles required.
• Knowledge of CLAAS equipment and parts is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to interpret parts and machine schematics.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally with limited supervision.
