Overview

Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Resident Customer Service Specialist supports and assists with all aspects of community operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Support and participate in fulfilling customer service and leasing responsibilities, including greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing apartments, generating quotes, closing leases, securing deposits, and assisting with rental applications and credit verification.
  2. Assist in preparing paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
  3. Implement lease renewal rates as approved by the Community Manager and distribute renewal letters to secure lease renewals.
  4. Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents about outstanding balances, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  5. Assist the Community Manager in organizing resident activities, preparing newsletters, and maintaining resident loyalty and retention.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
