Job summary

The Highlands is seeking a friendly Concierge to join our assisted living community in Topsham, ME. This part-time role covers Friday evenings and Saturday day shifts, with additional shifts as needed.

You will handle front-desk duties, greet residents and guests, answer calls, and coordinate services to support residents and families. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, customer service experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with office procedures and computers preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and route messages.
• Greet visitors and residents, signing registers when required.
• Provide information and assistance to residents and guests.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating services.
• Support recruitment activities by posting ads and screening applicants.
• Maintain lobby and reception area in a neat, organized condition.
• Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping on work orders.
• Assist supervisor with administrative tasks and vendor communications.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and assist in ordering.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and follow policies.
