Job summary

Adara Communities is hiring an Apartment Property Manager for a 320-unit Newport community. You will lead daily operations, manage onsite staff, and drive occupancy and financial performance with a strong customer-service focus.

The role requires at least 2 years of apartment management experience, a stable work history, and strong leadership and communication skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate within 20 miles are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Apartment Manager experience (REQUIRED)
• Stable work history
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management abilities
• Proven sales, marketing, and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing conventional communities of 200+ units
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a 320-unit conventional community
• Lead onsite team through coaching, training, and performance management
• Report key performance indexes, including financial and budget status, occupancy, and leasing metrics
• Manage rent collection, address delinquencies, and monitor operating expenses
• Investigate and resolve resident concerns, disturbances, and policy violations
• Drive leasing performance through strong sales and marketing strategies
• Conduct routine property inspections, including vacated units and community walk-throughs
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures and demonstrate strong organizational practices
• Uphold exceptional customer service and community standards
