Job summary

The Blossoms is seeking a Housekeeper to clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents. You will follow sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures and work with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include cleaning, moving furniture as directed, maintaining dining areas, and adhering to dietary and privacy guidelines while providing respectful care to residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions.
• Ability to set priorities and work independently.
• Must meet health assessment including two-stage Mantoux test.
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices and common areas (vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing).
• Move and arrange residents' furniture and equipment as directed.
• Clean and sanitize dining areas after meals.
• Follow the weekly cleaning schedule and safety procedures.
• Observe Resident Bill of Rights and confidentiality.
• Report hazards and follow infection control practices.
