McLean Affiliates in Simsbury, CT is seeking a Building Services Assistant to join a caring team devoted to residents and families. You will work as part of a team, respond to service requests, and maintain a clean, safe environment by cleaning floors, common areas, and resident rooms while following infection control procedures.

This role requires 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a health care environment helpful.

Responsabilités

• Clean assigned areas using infection control guidelines.
• Safely use PPE and report supply shortages.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, families.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks and projects.
• Sterilize rooms after patient discharge.
• Follow bio-medical waste disposal procedures.
