Job summary

Prestige Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include operating the medication room, processing orders, administering medications, documenting in residents' records, coordinating with pharmacies, and communicating with residents, families, and health staff. Requires state-specific certification and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults.
• Must hold state-required medication pass certification.
• CPR certification and First Aid training required.
• Word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the medication room and medication services per HSD directions and state nurse practice acts.
• Process physician orders for medications and treatments.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications.
• Maintain accurate medication and treatment records in residents' charts.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for orders and refills.
• Provide direct resident care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Respond to assist requests and participate in training and staff meetings.
