Job summary

Eastern Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to keep resident rooms, common areas, and staff spaces clean, safe, and sanitary. You will follow infection control procedures, handle trash, floor care, and stocking supplies while ensuring residents’ privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance needs, using PPE correctly, and supporting deep-cleaning projects as needed. Excellent time management and a compassionate approach to residents are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or residential cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Trash removal and waste disposal following safety protocols.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all floors.
• Restock supplies in resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Interact with residents respectfully while maintaining privacy.
