Job summary

Capitol Lakes, a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Madison, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to create a clean, comfortable living environment for residents and deliver exceptional customer service daily.

You will clean apartments, common areas, and offices, restock supplies, and follow safety and infection prevention procedures while supporting special cleaning projects to maintain the community's high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, common areas, offices, and public spaces according to established quality standards.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and restock supplies to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident housekeeping requests and concerns.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and chemical handling procedures while performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Support special cleaning projects and assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the community.
