SEM Haven is seeking a dedicated Homemaker to work cooperatively with residents, families, and staff to provide a caring, respectful home environment. The role includes assisting with food preparation/serving, cleanup, and helping residents maintain independence within the household.

The Homemaker will be cross-trained to support daily operations, attend meetings, and perform tasks to ensure a positive living experience for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• State Tested Nurse Aide certificate or Feeding Assistant certificate preferred.
• Food safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping tasks and housekeeping-related duties.
• Assist with meal service and personal care to residents.
• Support residents in daily life in the household and attend household meetings/learning circles.
