Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and certification requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Experience in LTC/SNF settings with prior knowledge of Net Health is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to residents in alignment with established standards and supervision by the OT.
• Conduct resident screenings at regular intervals to assess need for intervention or treatment.
• Collaborate with the OT to develop personalized treatment plans addressing residents' needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and communicate progress to the OT and interdisciplinary team.
