Milford Meadows is seeking a PM Cook to join our 80-bed skilled nursing facility in Milford, NE. You will prepare nutritious meals alongside our dietary team, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing home experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Friendly, respectful communication with residents and staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation: cook a variety of meals per planned menus and resident needs.
• Follow recipes and portion controls for consistency and quality.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliant with regulations.
• Assist in inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to review menus and resident needs.
• Keep records of temperatures, portions, and dietary modifications as required.
• Participate in ongoing training on safety and best practices.
