Laurel Brook Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging programs that promote residents’ well-being. This full-time role runs 9 am to 5 pm with daily pay benefits and a competitive wage of $15.92 per hour.

You’ll document participation, lead recreational activities, coordinate with the care team, and help with events and transportation. Requirements include a high school diploma and 1 year in an activities setting; English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests and abilities.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care goals.
