Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Palos Heights is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus.
The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to ensure their satisfaction.

Pay range: CNA: $17.75 - $19.50 per hour depending on experience; Resident Caregiver: $16.75 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience.
Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village).
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, ability to speak English understandably.
Experience: Knowledge and experience working with the elderly; dementia experience preferred.
Certification: Certification required per state regulations; must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training successfully.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, legs; read thermometers, charts, testing equipment; operate washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances; good physical and mental health.
