Resident Caregiver - Memory Care - Part-time - Evenings

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Austin is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in their service plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Skills: Basic reading and writing; understandable English speaking skills
  • Experience: Experience working with the elderly; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification: Required per state regulations; must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; full use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
