Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Palos Heights is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Pay ranges:

  • CNA: $17.75 - $19.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Resident Caregiver: $16.75 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience
Job Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English understandably
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience working with the elderly; Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification: Certification required according to state regulations; Must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; full use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
