Job Description

Arden Courts Glen Ellyn is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents in daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Pay ranges are as follows: CNA: $18.25 - $20.60/hour; Resident Caregiver: $17.25 - $19.50/hour, depending on experience.

Job Requirements

Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village).

Skills: Basic reading, writing, and understandable spoken English.

Experience: Knowledge of working with the elderly; dementia experience preferred.

License & Certification: Certification per state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; full use of hands, arms, legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
