Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care West Palm Beach is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. The role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading, writing, and understandable English speaking skills
• Experience: Experience working with the elderly; dementia experience preferred
• License: N/A
• Certification: Required per state regulations; must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training successfully

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for prolonged periods; push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; read thermometers, charts, operate household appliances; maintain good physical and mental health.
