Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Winter Springs is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as per the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. The role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading and writing, understandable English communication
• Experience: Working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
• Certification: Required per state regulations; must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for prolonged periods; push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, legs; read thermometers and operate household appliances; good physical and mental health.
