Resident Caregiver - Memory Care Kenwood - Part-time - Evenings

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Kenwood is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Basic reading and writing skills, ability to speak English understandably
  • Experience working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification as required by state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for prolonged periods; push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
