Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Sterling Heights is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver

The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Job Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, ability to speak English understandably
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience working with elderly; Previous dementia experience preferred
  • License: N/A
  • Certification: Certification required according to state regulations; Must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
