Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Kensington is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan. Responsibilities include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Job Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Skills: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak understandable English
  • Experience: Knowledge of working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification: Certification as per state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods; push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; read thermometers, charts, and operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
