Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Sterling Heights is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in their service plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

  • Skills: Basic reading, writing, and spoken English skills
  • Experience: Prior experience working with elderly; dementia experience preferred

  • Certification: Required per state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for extended periods; push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
