Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Glen Ellyn is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver with a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs, following the resident service plan. The role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure their satisfaction.

Pay ranges: CNA: $18.25 - $20.60 per hour; Resident Caregiver: $17.25 - $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Springhouse or Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Basic reading, writing, and spoken English skills
  • Experience working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification as required by state regulations; completion of required training

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; full use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to read and operate equipment; good physical and mental health.
